The Art of Serial Migration- Moving Matters Traveling Workshops
The first meeting of the Moving Matters Traveling Workshop brought together visual artists, dancers, actors and writers to respond to Moving Matters: Paths of Serial Migration, Susan Ossman’s book that follows people who have lived in several countries and proposes a new way of studying global social life. Some of those at the workshop figured in the book. All of those invited had settled in several different countries and thus, they responded to the book not just theoretically, but from the perspective of their own lived experience.
